Earlier this year Brad Paisley and wife Kimberly Williams Paisley, along with Belmont University, broke ground on a grocery in Nashville to help those in need, and now they are getting a little help with their cause.
The grocery, dubbed “The Store,” just received a $1.5 million state grant from the Tennessee Department of Human Services.
Says The Store Executive Director Gina Hancock, “This grant is the glue that is bringing the work of The Store and the Belmont Ministry Center together in a way that will help us both have the biggest impact possible on the people in our community.”
The Store is set to open early next year.
