Bonnaroo & Milwaukee’s Summerfest To Require Proof Of Vaccination Or COVID Test To Attend

The Bonnaroo Music Festival is just a few weeks away and organizers have announced protocols in order to keep concertergoers safe.

In order to attend the festival, ticketholders must show proof of vaccination. If they are not vaccinated, they will be required to obtain a negative COVID test 72 hours prior to entering the grounds. In addition, those who are unvaccinated have been asked to wear masks.

The 2021 Bonaroo Music Festival takes place September 2nd to 5th in Franklin, Tennessee, featuring headliners Foo Fighters, Lizzo, and Tyler the Creator, along with Tame Impala, Megan Thee Stallion, My Morning Jacket, Jason Isbell and more.

  • And it’s not just Bonaroo. Milwaukee’s Summerfest, which takes place September 2nd to 4th, 9th to 11th and 16th to 18th, will also require attendees to show proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken 72 hours prior to a show. Summerfest will consist of 1,000 performances on 12 stages, from artists like Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Chris Stapleton, Dave Mathews, Joan Jett and more.
