Bob Dylan is gearing up for another archival release, a collection of tracks from his country era in the late 1960s, “Travelin’ Thru, 1967-1969.” To tide fans over until its November 1st release date, Dylan has unveiled a music video featuring Johnny Cash.

In the clip, the two music stars and longtime friends work out a rough version of “Wanted Man.” The recording starts off with Cash’s wife June Carter Cash saying the song needs a melody – then Cash and Dylan run through the song… but not without a good dose of goofing off and fumbling lyrics.

The upcoming “Travelin’ Thru” set offers fans a listen to previously unreleased recordings from the era. That includes the debut of songs with Cash, and outtakes from the “John Wesley Harding,” “Nashville Skyline,” and “Self Portrait” sessions. Check out Dylan and Cash’s rough version of “Wanted Man” to the right.
