Craig Morgan’s heartbreaking single, "The Father, My Son, and the Holy Ghost,” is a tribute to his son Jerry who died in a boating accident in 2016, and the tune has at least one superstar fan.
In case you missed it, upon hearing the tune Blake Shelton began using his Twitter account to help promote it telling fans, “I would gladly give up my spot on country radio to get this song on.." adding, "Wow Craig Morgan. You blow me away brother. There's nothing easy or fun about writing a song like this but sometimes it's just something you gotta do."
Since his first post, Blake has gone on to continually promote the song, sharing, “Come on everybody this song deserves to be number 1 at least on iTunes.” And it seems fans are about to make it happen, with the song currently at number two. Check out the song to the right.
