Artists Pay Tribute To John Prine/New Prine Song Released

John Prine’s friends and admirers took part in the benefit livestream "Picture Show: A Tribute Celebrating John Prine,” which featured the debut of a brand new Prine song.

Performances included Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires performing “Hello In There,” Eric Church singing “She Is My Everything,” Bonnie Raitt singing the classic “Angel From Montgomery,” Margo Price and Jeremy Ivy performing “All the Best,” Kacey Musgraves offering up her song inspired by John, “Burn One with John Prine,” Brandi Carlile performing “Flag Decal,” and more.

The special also featured the debut of a brand new John Prine song,  “I Remember Everything,” which was released after the broadcast.  

• The benefit livestream raised at least $200,000 for charities helping those impacted by COVID-19. John died from complications of the coronavirus in April. Check out clips from the tribute, and “I Remember Everything” to the right.
