AppleTV+ "My Kind Of Country" Tap Country Stars For Competition Series

Apple TV+ is launching a new reality music competition show "My Kind of Country" on March 24th. The show will feature country stars Jimmie Allen, Mickey Guyton and Orville Peck as scouts who will travel the world to find the next big country star. Reese Witherspoon and Kacey Musgraves executive produce the show and will also be joining in the series!
The show is described as a “a fresh take on a competition series, breaking down barriers in country music by providing an extraordinary opportunity to diverse and innovative artists from around the world.” Allen, Guyton, and Peck will invite their prospective stars to Nashville where they will show off their talent to a panel of judges for a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime shot at stardom.
The winner of the eight-episode series will receive what is described as a “life-changing prize” from Apple Music that will include “unprecedented support and exposure on the platform.”
