Alan Jackson was back on stage this weekend, performing his first drive-in concerts. The two shows took place in Alabama, the happeingn in rural Cullman, on York Farms the site of Rock the South, for about 2,000 vehicles.
"I love cars,” Alan told his crowd. “This is perfect for me. The main thing we’re just glad to get out of the house and have a good time with y’all down here.”
Fans watched the 75-minute show either on top of cars or from lawn chairs, with Alan treating the crowd to such songs as “Gone Country," "I'd Love You All Over Again," "It's Five O' Clock Somewhere" and more.
Of course this was far from a typical concert. To promote social distancing fans were allowed to bring their own coolers and snacks. There was also lemonade carts that delivered drinks, and food could be ordered and delivered to cars. Check out scenes from the drive-in to the right.
