Adele Talks Collaborating With Chris Stapleton

As we told you, Adele and Chris Stapleton team up for a new version of her single “Easy On Me,” with the collaboration featured on the Target deluxe version of Adele’s “30” and now officially out on country radio.
“Basically, I’ve been a fan of him since SteelDriver days,” Adele tells "Rolling Stone.” “I’ve been covering SteelDrivers for like nearly 12 years now. It’s just… his voice is just f**king brilliant.”
Due to travel restrictions because of COVID Adele and Chris couldn’t record the song together, with everything done over Zoom, which Adele says was “devastating.”
“I think our voices work brilliantly together,” she says. “[He] would’ve been one person that I would’ve always have said yes, like 100%.”
