Tim McGraw Relates To His Early Songs Differently Now

Tim McGraw has been in the music business for a long time now, and after all these years he’s found that how he relates to some of his songs have changed.
Tim says you start seeing things a different way “when you’ve lived more life and you have your own kids and you have your own family and you’re looking back at it.” He notes, “Now, I listen to songs, and I’m like, maybe I could emote it differently because I found a different way of putting myself into character into that song.”
He adds, “When life steps in and really gets into the cracks of your life and causes the cracks in your face, that’s where the beauty comes from I think in a lot of ways.”
