Thomas Rhett has chosen the title track from his album “Life Changes” to be the next single off the record.
“This song is basically my autobiography in three minutes,” Thomas says. “It covers my college years, marrying Lauren, becoming a dad and the evolution of my music career.” He adds, “It’s definitely the most personal song I’ve ever written, but we all go through a lot in life whatever the story is, so I think the sentiment is something a lot of people can relate to.”
- Next up, Thomas is headed to Las Vegas for the ACM Awards, where he’s nominated for Male Vocalist, Video of the Year and as the artist and producer for Album of the Year for “Life Changes.” He’s also participating in the ACM “Stories, Songs and Stars” event on Friday, and he says he’s happy to be getting into town “a little bit early" so he and his wife can really experience Las Vegas. As for the event he notes, “It’ll be nice to get up there with other artists and writers as well and be able to kinda go in the round,” adding, “I’m looking forward to it.”
