Thomas Rhett’s new album “Center Point Road” drops today and it features guest appearances by several of his good friends including Little Big Town, Kelsea Ballerini and Jon Pardi.
“I’ve always been a huge fan of like if you’re going to have somebody guest on your album you should know them, first of all,” Thomas shares. “You should have a good relationship with them.”
He adds, “if I could have a friend on every single song I would probably do it just because I think making music with your friends is so much more fun than doing it by yourself.”
As for the songs on the album, Thomas says he actually wrote about 150 tunes for it, which he eventually narrowed down to 40, and then 20. He says he wound up cutting about 18 tracks, noting, “which is a step up from the last record that we cut 22 on.”
- ONE MORE THING! Thomas Rhett fans will want to be sure to tune into "Today" this morning, when he headlines their Citi Concert Series on Rockefeller Plaza.
