Thomas Rhett Always Runs New Songs by His Wife

So it seems like we've found the answer to the question of whose opinion Thomas Rhett takes to heart when trying to decide whether or not to record a song. Why it's his wife, Lauren of course.
Thomas says that "She's the ultimate gauge. If she didn't like a song, it means that 70% of the female population is not going to like it, which is a big percentage so I'm always playing her songs."
He says Lauren goes by "feeling" when she hears a song, and that feeling is always right. She can tell within 15 seconds if the song is worth his time.
Lauren immediately fell in love with Thomas’ latest single, “Look What God Gave Her,” as Thomas says she was his inspiration for writing it.
