The GRAMMY nominations have been announced so you know what that means: it's time to analyze the numbers! This year, it’s the hip hop stars that rule. Jay-Z, who's already won 21 GRAMMYs, leads the pack with eight nominations, followed by Kendrick Lamar with seven, and Bruno Mars with six.
In the world of country music, however – Chris Stapleton is the big fish. Chris snagged noms for Best Country Solo Performance, Best Country Song and Best Country Album. Of course, he’s not the only artist waking up very happy today – Lady Antebellum and Little Big Town scored multiple nominations, and so did Sam Hunt, Midland and Miranda Lambert.
Who will win? Find out when the 60th annual GRAMMY Awards air live from New York's Madison Square Garden on January 28th. Check out the Country nominations below, the American Roots Music nods HERE, and the complete list HERE.
