Yesterday marked the 13th anniversary of the release of Taylor Swift’s self-titled debut album, and fans marked the occasion with the hashtag #13yearsoftaylorswift. Well, all the appreciation didn’t go unnoticed by Taylor, who took to social media to thank her Swifties for their support.

“I said in an interview 13 years ago "I'm just hoping that I have a second album that does as well as the first and someday get to be a headliner, and always be the same person that I started out as,” she shares on Instagram. “Scrolling through your posts today has me feeling all the feelings & and I want to thank you.”

She adds, “Because of you, there was a 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th and 7th album. You guys made me into a headliner because you wanted to see me play. And your support all these years is what’s helped me stay true to that kid I was when I started out. #13yearsoftaylorswift.” Check out the post, and some of the fan posts, below.

  • ONE MORE THING! Taylor upcoming movie "Cats" will feature a new tune written by Taylor and Andrew Lloyd Webber, although she doesn't sing it in the film. The track, "Beautiful Ghosts," will be sung by English ballerina Francesca Hayward, who plays Victoria. But don't worry Swifties, Taylor did record the song too. Her version will play during the film's end credits.  Check out a featurette about the song, along with a snippet of the tune, to the right.
