Taylor Swift did her best to ease the suffering of a Massachusetts police department, who lost one of their own earlier this month. According to Weymouth Mayor Robert Hedlund, Taylor offered up “a significant number of tickets” to her Gillette Stadium show this past weekend to Weymouth police officers.
The Weymouth department has been mourning the loss of Sgt. Michael Chesna, who earlier this month was shot and killed while investigating a car crash.
“My understanding is that they did it low-key and weren’t looking for publicity,” Hedlund said. “There were enough to send every police officer, firefighter and extended family to the concert, and then some.” He added, “The gesture was absolutely generous, significant and appreciated.”
- ONE MORE THING! Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds caught Taylor’s “Reputation” show at Gillette Stadium Satuday and were caught reacting to their daughter’s voice being part of the show. Blake and Ryan’s daughter James is heard at the beginning of Taylor’s track “Delicate” and video shows them going ballistic when they heard it. Check it out below.
