Social Dilemma -New Girlfriend Already Making Plans For Trip Six Months Away

Joe on Reddit writes.. My girlfriend and I have been dating about three months and things seem to be going well, but she just put me in an awkward situation and I’m worried that if I don’t respond right things may go downhill. She recently received a wedding invitation for one of her cousins and it’s a destination wedding that doesn’t take place until June. Well, she immediately started talking about how we needed to start making travel plans and it caught me off guard. It’s not that I wouldn’t want to go with her, but our relationship is still pretty new and committing to buying airline tickets for something six months away seems risky. How do I let her know that I'm not comfortable committing to going to this wedding without risking our relationship?
