Social Dilemma -Friendship Has Changed Since BFF Became A Mom

Lorraine on Reddit writes…One of my best friends had a child last year and while I’m super happy for her, it is causing some issues with our relationship. We try to meet up once a month, but when we do, she either always has her child with her, or doesn’t talk about anything other than her baby. I get it, her child is her life now, but these outings just aren’t fun anymore, plus she rarely asks about my life and what I’m up to. The past couple of months I’ve made excuses as to why I can’t meet up with her, but I’m going to have to tell her the truth at some point. How do I broach the subject without totally ruining our friendship?
