Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are pretty close to Taylor Swift - so close that their three kids consider the pop singer an "aunt". So it was quite a revelation to them when they went to a Taylor concert and found out that singing wasn't just something that "Aunt Taylor" did around the house as a hobby.
The actor appeared on Monday's episode of Sirius XM's "The Jess Cagle Show", where he explained that his daughters, Betty, 3, Inez, 6, and James, 7, never quite understood singing was what Taylor did for a living. "I think what's most exciting for them is that for the longest time they just thought Taylor's just like an aunt, like a friend of Mommy and Daddy that's very, very close, almost family," he explained. "And then they went to a concert one day and were like, 'Ohhhhh, this isn't a hobby,' " Reynolds added. It's one thing to see your favorite aunt singing around the house - quite another to see her on stage with lights, a band and thousands cheering her on.
In related news, Ryan denies rumors that "Aunt TayTay" will be making an appearance in "Deadpool 3" , though he did add she would "of course" be welcome in it. "Are you kidding me? I would do anything for that woman. She's a genius,"
