Rita Wilson has shared a new song “Where’s My Country Song?” and dropped a Mother’s Day-inspired video for the track, paying tribute to hard working mothers everywhere.
“I am in awe of women who work hard, sometimes without reward, and yet are able to live lives of dignity, integrity, grace,” Rita shares. “Sometimes, these women, like my mom, are unnoticed in society, but are vital contributors to our society as mothers, daughters, friends, co-workers.”
She adds, “These are women who inspire me with their kindness, hard work, and character. I feel like I understand them since my mother was often dismissed because of her accent, and that she was different. I knew she was extraordinary. Why didn't the rest of the world see that?"
