Morgan Wallen Shares New Song 'Thought You Should Know'

Morgan Wallen has a new song dedicated to his mother. In an Instagram video, Wallen shared a clip of himself performing "Thought You Should Know," which has not yet been released.  

Before he begins, Wallen explains, "I wrote this song for my mom a while ago, seemed like an appropriate time to share it. In the song, he alludes to "bad decisions" he has made in his life. Lyrics to the song include, "What’s going on mama?/ Something’s just dawned on me/ I ain’t been home in some months,. Been chasing songs and women/ Making some bad decisions/ God knows I’m drinking too much/ Yeah, I know you’ve been worrying 'bout me/ You’ve been losing sleep since '93."

The song was co-written by Miranda Lambert and Nicolle Galyon. Lambert commented under the video, writing, "Thanks for letting me and @nicatnitemusic write this special song with you . Sounds great."
