Morgan Evans Drops New Single, "My Own Again"

Morgan Evans has been known more for his personal life than his music over the last several months - his divorce and the fallout have put Morgan and his ex Kelsea Ballerini in the headlines. But for an artist, many times the highs and lows of real life serve as creative fuel - and for Morgan that seems to be the case with his music.

Friday the Australian singer dropped a new single that seems to be both a retelling of current events and an optimistic look towards the future. "My Own Again" tells the story of a relationship gone south, and waking up the next day realizing that heartbreak can lead to better things ahead. Evans took to Instagram to talk about the song, saying, "I wrote this song in November last year - the chorus, at least -  and it just felt like the first moment that I stopped looking in the past and really started looking towards the future."
