Miranda Lambert has a new number one album. Miranda’s latest release, “Wildcard,” debuts on top the “Billboard” Top Country Album chart, this week, making it her seventh solo studio album to debut at number one.
As we previously told you, Miranda moved 53,000 equivalent album units of “Wildcard,” 44,000 in traditional album sales, which was also enough to put her at number four on the all-genre “Billboard” 200 Album chart.
Also on the album chart, Luke Combs’ “This One’s For You” is at two, while Hootie & The Blowfish’s new record, “Imperfect Circle” debuts at three.
Elsewhere on the chart…
- Dan + Shay’s “10,000 Hours,” featuring Justin Beiber, tops the Hot Country Songs chart for a fifth week.
- ONE MORE THING! It looks like Miranda may be giving away tickets to the CMA Awards. The singer posted "Have some #CMAawards tickets that need a home...stay tuned," on social media, and then shared video of a shelf of "Wildcard" CDs, with an envelope that reads "CMA Awards," noting, "Tag me when y’all find em!! #CMAawards @CountryMusic #wildcard." The tickets were quickly found.
