Midland’s latest single “Cheatin’ Songs” is one a lot of people can probably relate to. The tune is about a guy who discovers his gal is cheating on him, the theme of countless songs that have come before it.

Mark Wystrach thinks the song connects with fans because, “I think all of us have experienced that,” adding, “it’s a sickening feeling, right?”

He notes, “the thing about this song, it might be telling it from a guy’s perspective, but everybody relates to it, and that’s what’s cool about it.”

  • ONE MORE THING! Midland fans will want to be sure to check out “The Washington Post” this weekend. They will be the subject of a new profile by writer Carlo Rotella. They share on Instagram, “On the bus, in a greasy spoon, killing time, waiting around, soundcheck, backstage, onstage, in the crowd, under the stage, on lawn chairs out back and everywhere in between, THE WASHINGTON POST had total access…In March.”
