Midland See Festivals As A Challenge

Midland is hitting several festivals this summer, which they love even though they admit they can sometimes be a challenge.  Cameron Duddy says the issue is that you’re often playing for people who’ve never heard you before and it’s hard “to try and win over a crowd,” adding that “it keeps you honest.”

Meanwhile, Mark Wystrach loves playing them simply because they are outdoors, since they spend so much time inside busses and areans when they are on tour. He shares, “I love it even though it’s not like sonically the perfect landscape, I like to see the sun.”
