Midland Reveals The Inspiration Behind Nickname For Fans

Like most artists, Midland has a nickname for their fan club, the Midlanderos, and it was inspired by something important to all of them.
“I grew up on the Mexican border and the Mexican culture is important and something that the three of us all enjoy,” Mark Wystrach shares, noting the name was something he “just threw” out as a suggestion.
He notes, “It reminded me of kind of like an old 50’s western or something. And I don’t know, it just kinda caught.”
