As we previously told you, Mickey Guyton's son Grayson had a scary health crisis last month that put the then nine-month-old in the ICU. Guyton provided an update that he was doing okay, but now she's opening up about it even more.
Thankfully, according to Guyton, Grayson is doing much better. It was a mix of dehydration and sepsis that made medical care and a trip to the ICU necessary. Grayson openend up, saying, "People don't tell you how terrifying parenting is.
She also spoke about joining Pentatonix for a "Cracker Barrel" YouTube and Facebook video special where they will not only sing "How Great Thou Art" together, but also swap gifts and share traditions. Grayson will also sing "O Holy Night" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" solo.
Guyton is so excited for this, saying, "I am such a huge fan of Pentatonix. They are truly some of the nicest, kindest humans and you just fall into it. They're so good at what they do, you just shine along with 'em because they're that good."
The festiveness also had her thinking of her own family traditions, which mostly revolved around food, and now that she has her own baby, she's taking her traditions to a whole new level. Guyton shares, "Before I had a baby it was like, 'Muh, it's Christmas. Another year. Since I've had Grayson it's like, 'It's Christmas! I've gotta decorate a tree, do all this amazing stuff for him so he feels the magic of Christmas."
