Margo Price has shared a new song, although it may sound familiar to fans. She’s released the tune, “Long Live The King,” which she’s played in concert for a while.
“‘Long Live the King’ is a song about three extraordinary men who changed the course of history for the better,” Margo shares, referring to Elvis Presley, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and John Lennon. “But no one is without flaw and they each had a duality in their personalities. This song is also about not idolizing celebrities or putting people up on a pedestal because we are all human and we all make mistakes.”
The song can be bought or streamed anywhere, but is also part of Margo’s mail order record club, A Series of Rumors,” which sends covers, collaborations and more to subscribers over three monthly shipments.
