Maren Morris Drops New Song “Nervous”

Maren Morris has given fans another taste of her upcoming album “Humble Quest.” The singer just released the new track “Nervous,” which she wrote with Natalie Hemby and Jimmy Robbins. 

“Natalie, she actually brought this idea in to me and Jimmy and Jimmy just had an electric in his hands,” she says of the writing of the tune. “So we went with that and it felt really roughed up. And like, we didn’t want to keep anything too slick with the production or the vocal.”

She says the song has a “sexual, empowering vibe,” adding, “it was the first time I felt like I took the training wheels off in a long time and just got to belt it,” noting, “So I’m excited to play that one live.”

Maren’s “Humble Quest” drops March 25^th. 

• ONE MORE THING! Maren just shared one of the traits she’s passed down to her son Hayes, and she’s not too happy about it. “Hayes had to get glasses today and he looks so cute,” she tweets, “but I also feel awful that I passed my awful eyesight onto him.”
