Maddie & Tae’s Latest Single Was Inspired By A Real Breakup

Maddie & Tae have released their latest single “Die From A Broken Heart” to radio, and it’s a very personal song for Tae Dye.
She says they wrote the tune two weeks after she went through a breakup. “It’s hard for me to really dig into my emotions in the midst of my emotions,” she says, explaining that she actually “turned off” her emotion while writing the song, “just so I wasn’t a mess during writing it.”
She adds, “But that was probably the hardest one just because I felt everything that the song says.”
“Die From A Broken Heart” will be featured on Maddie & Tae’s new EP, “One Heart To Another,” dropping April 26th.
