Maddie & Tae, Sam Williams Drop New Music

It was another great weekend for new country music, with Maddie & Tae dropping a new track, and Sam Williams giving us a cover of a holiday classic.

• Maddie & Tae just released the new single “Madness,” which they wrote with Jessie Jo Dillon and Zach Kale. They share that the song is “about the people who get you through the rough times... Or in our case, the guys who changed our last names.” 

• Sam Williams, grandson Hank Williams and son of outlaw legend Hank Williams, Jr., has shared his take on the Elvis Presley holiday classic “Blue Christmas.” “’Blue Christmas’ is a classic that’s lonesome and vulnerable, while simultaneously fostering comfort to those of us feeling lonely during the holiday season,” he shares. “I loved drawing from some of the original melodies while giving my own fresh version of the song.”
