Luke Combs has a new number one song, and a new chart milestone. The singer’s latest track, “Beautiful Crazy,” tops the “Billboard” Country Airplay chart this week, his fifth straight number one.
The new chart topper makes Luke the first artist ever to send his first five songs to number one. His first number one came in May, 2017, with his debut single “Hurricane,” which was then followed by “When It Rains It Pours” in November 2017, “One Number Away” this past June and “She Got The Best Of Me,” this past October.
Before Luke, Florida Georgia Line and Brooks & Dunn had the best ever chart debuts, with each sending their first four singles to number one.
- But that’s not all, “Crazy Beautiful” also tops the “Billboard” Hot Country Songs, Country Streaming Songs and Country Digital Songs Sales charts. He is now the first artist to hold all four number ones since Kane Brown did it in October, 2017 (although Kane actually held five charts, since he was number one on the Top Country Albums chart too.)
- ONE MORE THING! Luke took to Instragam to share his thoughts on his latest feat. “How I feel about 5 number one songs in a row!!!!!,” he writes. “There are so many people to thank. First off the fans, the bootleggers, thank you for believing in me and showing your support song after song and show after show you are what keeps me motivated to move forward and without you none of this is possible.” Check it out below.
