The 2018 Lollapalooza lineup was just announced and it features a little bit of country. Both Luke Combs and Anderson East are set to peform at the four-day fest, which takes place August 2nd to the 5th at Grant Park in Chicago.
Headliners for this year's Lolla include Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Jack White and Arctic Monkeys, with artists like Bebe Rexha, Camila Cabello, Walk The Moon, Portugal, The Man, Zedd, James Bay, and more also set to perform.
While the massive lineup seems to satisfy most musical tastes, the fest is facing backlash for its lack of female acts. Social media users were quick to notice the first female act on the lineup, CHVRCHES, appears in the fourth row of the poster. What's more, of the 80 performers, only 18 are female.
The fest has mainly been headlined by males since its inaugural year in 1991, but last year Lorde was one of the first-named headliners. Her set was cut short due to weather conditions and some are wondering why she wasn’t brought back this year.
