Luke Bryan’s new album “Born Here Live Here Die Here” drops Friday. In connection with the release, he’ll be taking over the Circle Network on August 19th. The “Luke Bryan Lives Here” takeover kicks off at 8:30 pm with “Circle Sessions: Luke Bryan,” which will feature an interview and performance, taped at the Opry House’s The Circle Room.
“I thought it could be a really fun night for me to come and perform some songs from some of my heroes who have influenced me along the way,” Luke shares. “I couldn’t think of a better place to do that than at the Opry.”
The "Evening of Luke" continues at 9 pm with a re-airing of Luke and Darius Rucker’s Grand Ole Opry performance, which takes place this Saturday; and wraps 10 pm with “Opry Goes Pink featuring Luke Bryan,” from October’s 11th Annual Opry Goes Pink event supporting the fight against breast cancer.
- ONE MORE THING! Apparently there's a huge downside to having a hit song called "One Margarita." In an interview with Delish, Luke shares, "The problem with having ‘One Margarita’ as a hit, is now everybody wants to send me three margaritas and a shot,” a reference to a lyric in the song. Luke adds, "Yes. People are trying to assassinate me with liquor.”
