Luke Bryan had thousands of fans singing his songs back to him this weekend when he became the first country artist to headline Los Angeles’ Dodgers’ Stadium, and he was particularly proud to hear them sing “Most People Are Good," especially the lyric, “I believe you love who you love / Ain't nothing you should ever be ashamed of."

"I thought about every level of humanity and what that [lyric] does,” he tells “Entertainment Tonight.” “I felt like it could be translated and taken in so many ways and people we're gonna hear that and hear a country music artist do it and go, 'unbelievable.’”

And the truth is, Luke is proud of the entire song, noting it has “a tremendous purpose and a tremendous beauty to it.” "It's just a special song," he offers. "It's not about whether a county music artist did it. Whoever would've performed that song, I think it would've touched a lot of people."

  • ONE MORE THING! Prior to Luke’s Dodger’s Stadium show BMI awarded him eight “Million Air Awards,” for songs that accumulated over one-million U.S. broadcast performances. Luke earned the honors for “Move” (1 million), “Fast” (1 million), “Huntin’, Fishin’, and Lovin’ Every Day” (1 million), “I See You” (2 Million), “Someone Else Calling You Baby” (2 million), “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye” (2 million) “This Is How We Roll” (2 million) and “Good Directions,” which he wrote for BillyCurrington (4 million).
