Lady Antebellum have picked “What I’m Leaving For” as the next single from their latest release, “Ocean.”
“This song really describes exactly where we’re at in our lives and the give and take to try to find a personal balance with career and family,” Hillary Scott shares. “Whether you are in the military, returning from maternity leave or just experiencing those tender-hearted ‘goodbyes’ we hope it resonates and evokes a piece of comfort in the example we set for our children.”
The tune is expected to hit radio on February 18th. The band previously released a video for the song, featuring footage of their children. Check out the song to the right.
- And speaking of the band’s families, Charles Kelley says he can’t help but share pictures of his son Ward on social media. He says before he had kids he insisted he would never be one of those dads who shared everything, but notes, “I’m just so proud of everything he does, and I, like, love him so much.” Charles does add though, “I still struggle with if I do it too much.
