Christmas has changed for the guys in Eli Young Band, especially since some of the guys have kids. So, what are the biggest changes? “Christmas got expensive,” Jon Joes jokes, while Mike Eli admits, “it did get a little more fun.”
Some of the things Mike likes doing with his kids is staying up late, and putting out cookies and milk for Santa. He notes about his daughter, “watching her be excited about it is just a really fun thing.”
For Jon, he likes being able to restart traditions that he lost as he grew up. He notes that before he had his son Hudson, “Christmas took on a different meaning and it wasn’t quite the same.” But now he adds, “I feel like it’s a lot easier to get the Christmas spirit back again with a child in your life.”
