Up and coming country singer Katie Armiger has reached a settlement in her fight against her former label Cold River Records.

Armiger and the label’s boss Pete O’Heeron have been engaged in a legal battle since 2016, after O’Heeron sued Armiger for breach of contract. Then in 2017, in the height of the #MeToo movement, Armiger shared her experiences of sexual harassment in the country music industry, prompting another suit by O’Heeron for breach of a disparagement agreement.

As we previously told you,  Arminger said she was told she needed to dress provocatively, and flirt with program directors and DJs if she wanted her music played on the radio. She also said a DJ once tried to feel her up under the table during an interview and a DJ grabbed her butt during a photo shoot.

Well, now the two sides have reached a settlement, which will allow Armiger out of her Cold River contract. “Neither party has admitted any wrongdoing or liability, nor has any court ruled on the merits of either party’s claims or counterclaims," read a statement from both parties. Arminger also acknowledged that “Mr. O’Heeron was not individually responsible for the entirety of the negative experiences she faced in the country music industry.”
