Justin Moore On Getting In The Headspace To Write “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home”

Justin Moore’s latest single “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home," from the just released album "Long Nights and Longnecks," is certainly a very emotional tune, and it didn’t take much for him to get in the right frame of mind to write such a song.
“I don’t think it’s a conscious decision that, ‘Hey we gotta go here in our minds to do this,’” he says. “But I think as you are writing a song like that, I think you go there.”
Justin says he’s “really proud of that song,” and regardless of whether or not it’s a hit, he notes, “to have a song like that that can have a positive impact on people’s life is even more special.”
