Jason Aldean showed his appreciation for truckers this week, playing a surprise Amazon concert in honor of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.
Approximately 200 line-haul partners and truckers were treated to a pop up concert at the Amazon Truck Stop in Nashville, a.k.a. the Nissan Stadium parking lot, with Jason performing a six-song set that included his new single, “Way Back” as well as “My Kinda Party,” “You Make It Easy,” “She’s Country,” “Rearview Town,” and “Girl Like You.”
“I've always had an appreciation for the trucking industry,” Jason told “Billboard” ahead of his set. “My grandfather was a truck driver...We obviously have a lot of truck drivers on our tour that work hard for us, so I thought it was a cool thing to be able to pair up with Amazon and do something like this.”
