Jake Owen Surprises Newly Married Couple

Jake Owen brought an extra smile to one happy couple this weekend. The singer was in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for a special concert when he decided to stop by and pay a visit to a couple who had just gotten married in the area.
Jake found out about the happy occasion after a groomsman sent him a direct message on Twitter asking him to attend, and he obliged. “I was just hoping he was gonna be there and actually show up,” the groomsman said. “He’s a super great dude...he showed up, we had a beer with him and talked.”
And it turns out the visit was extra special for the couple. The groomsman noted that he found out the couple’s first dance was going to be to a Jake song.
Jake later shared a news report of the wedding, adding, “Congrats y’all! I was proud to be there.”
