Jake Owen Breaks Wrist Giving Daughter A Skateboarding Safety Lesson

Jake Owen is sporting a cast on his arm after breaking his wrist trying to teach his daughter Pearl a lesson in skateboarding safety.
“I was riding a skateboard in my driveway with my little girl, Pearl, trying to show her what not to do," he shares on Instagram, showing off his new cast. "And I showed her what not to do, all right ... don't break your wrist, Pearl.”
Jake’s broken wrist reveal came on the same day he was announced as special guest on Lady Antebellum’s “Ocean 2020 Tour” and he insists he’s going to be okay in time. Check out the video to the right.

Jake later shared in another video that right after he told fans about his broken wrist Maren Morris’ tune “The Bones” came on the radio, and he felt like she was talking right to him, with Jake then making up his own version of the song assuring folks he’ll be okay in time for an upcoming golf tournament. The post prompted a comment from Maren, noting, “Haha sh*t. That song explicitly warns about skateboards. Feel better!” Check it out to the right.
