ICYMI: Carly Pearce Busked In A New York Subway Station

Carly Pearce surprised some commuters in New York last week. In case you missed it, the singer showed off her vocal talents by busking in a Manhattan subway sation for the YouTube series, “Subway Creatures. 

"It's been SUCH an exciting day," she shared just moments before her performance. "Wrapping things up in #NYC with a pop-up performance with @SubwayCreatures … at the @rockcenternyc Subway Station! If you're in the city, I hope to see you there!" Check out her performance to the right.

• ONE MORE THING! Carly is nominated for a CMA Award for New Artist of the Year this Wednesday, and she was completely shocked to be nominated. Since she was convinced Ashley McBryde would be nominated, and doubted two gals would be recognized, she didn’t even watch the nominations announcement. It was her then-fiance (now husband) Michael Ray who shared the good news, and she was so surprised she ruined breakfast. “I was making eggs and … I genuinely was completely shocked and burned our eggs,” she shares. “We ended up eating them though.”
