Gwen Stefani Reveals Angelina Jolie Beat Hear Out For "Mr. & Mrs. Smith"

Did you know that Gwen Stefani auditioned to star opposite Brad Pitt in 2015's "Mr. and Mrs. Smith?!" She clearly didn't get the role -- losing out to Angelina Jolie, who got the role after Nicole Kidman dropped out. 

While playing the "Burning Questions" game with Ellen DeGeneres on her show, Ellen asked Gwen, "What movie role have you auditioned for that people would be surprised to know?" "Mr And Mrs Smith, Angelina beat me," Gwen responded. She then joked that "that could've been a different story."
