George Strait Bringing In Big Bucks On The Road

George Strait is still bringing in the fans with his live shows. In fact, the singer lands at number two on the “Billboard” Hot Tours list this week thanks to his shows last month at the Houston Rodeo, and Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
George’s show at Houston’s NRG Stadium brought in $12.7 million, while his Atlanta gig brought in another $12 mil. The shows actually mark the second and third time he’s earned more than $10 million from a concert.
The first time George grossed over $10 mil was back in June, 2014 with a show at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which brought in $18.2 mil. It is actually still the highest-grossing box office in Billboard Boxscore history for a country artist.
