Garth Brooks was back with a new edition of Inside Studio G, where he announced a very special performance for this weekend.
Ever since the lockdown began, the Grand Ole Opry has still been putting on their Saturday night show, but without an audience, and this weekend Garth and wife Trisha Yearwood are headlining.
“I’m gonna do some of the greatest country music on the planet,” Garth said of his Saturday set. “I don’t even know if I’m going to do any of mine.” He then threw out some names including George Jones, George Strait, Randy Travis, Merle Haggard and more.
“This is gonna be a fun Saturday night,” Garth shared. “I’m honored.”
The show will take place 8 pm ET and fans can watch it on The Circle network and on Opry’s Facebook page.
