As we told you, there were rumors going around that Garth Brooks was going to be the latest country star to open a bar in Nashville. Well, now he’s confirmed the news. The singer has announced plans to open a new entertainment concept and bar on Nashville’s Lower Broadway. It will be a three-story, 40,000+ square foot property.
“We feel very lucky to have the chance to be part of Lower Broad, which is arguably THE hottest spot in the country,” Garth shares. “The goal is a classic honky-tonk that welcomes all and encourages love and kindness while playing the greatest music in the world in the home of country music!”
Garth purchased the property on Lower Broadway back in December. So far there’s no word on when it will open.
- ONE MORE THING! Garth recently helped Musicians On Call commemorate them serving their one millionth patient. Brooks virtually connected with 87-year-old Marianna Mishik, from Staten Island, New York, who is recovering from an injury sustained in a fall. He sang for Mishik and her daughter, and after Mishik said she loved dancing he invited her to Nashville to take her dancing.
