Eric Church has revealed in a message on his website that his brother and collaborator, Brandon Church, passed away last week. An official cause of death was not released, although TMZ reports the 36-year-old suffered some seizures before dying of cardiac arrest.
“It is with great sadness to confirm that Eric's brother, Brandon, passed away on Friday evening," read the message to Eric's fan club. "In lieu of flowers, we are encouraging everyone to donate to a Scholarship Memorial Fund created on Brandon's behalf. You can leave a message that will go via email directly to (their parents) Ken and Rita.”
Brandon co-wrote several of Eric’s songs, including “How ‘Bout You” and “Without You Here.”
