Dolly Parton has another award to add to her shelf. The singer won an Emmy at this weekend’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which were held at L.A. Live in Los Angeles.
Dolly’s Netflix holiday film “Dolly Parton’s Christmas on the Square” was voted Outstanding Television Movie, with Dolly picking up a trophy as executive producer.
While this is Dolly’s first Emmy win, she was previously nominated in 1978 for a supporting role on the Cher special, aptly titled “Cher…Special.”
- ONE MORE THING! Dolly’s Imagination Library has been named the 2021 Friend of Education by the National Association of State Boards of Education (NASBE). The honor is given each year to an individual or organization for their contributions to preK-12 education.
