Dolly Parton Releases New Song From Book’s Companion Album; Her Jeni’s Ice Cream Flavor To Return

As we told you, Dolly Parton is releasing her first novel, "Run Rose Run," on March 7^th, which she co-wrote with James Patterson. She’s also releasing a companion album, and she just shared the first song.

She’s released the new track “Big Dreams and Faded Jeans,” about a young girl who leaves home in the hopes of finding stardom. The album “Run Rose Run” will drop March 4^th, three days ahead of the book’s release. 

• But that’s not all. To celebrate the release of the book and album, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream is planning a second run of Strawberry Pretzel Pie, the flavor they teamed with Dolly to make.
