Country Stars Will Help Remember The September 11th Attacks

This month marks the 20th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, and the Circle Network has enlisted some of your favorite country stars to help remember that tragic day.

"Circle Remembers 9/11,” hosted by the Grand Ole Opry and in partnership with the veterans’ group the Wounded Warrior Project, will consist of two prime-time specials that will feature performances by Brad Paisley, Lauren Alaina. Little Big Town, Carly Pearce, Vince Gill, Jimmie Allen, Trisha Yearwood, Billy Ray Cyrus and Trace Adkins. 

Coverage on the anniversary will actually run from 8 am to 10, pm. The specials include, “Songs from September: The Music That Healed A Nation,” hosted by Bobby Bones, who’ll talk to artists about the music of the time, and the songs that comforted folks after the attacks. Then at 8 pm, a special two-hour September 11th-themed “Opry Live,” hosted by Charles Esten, will be livestreamed and also air on Circle All Access’ Twitter, Facebook and YouTube channels.
